Simple Moist Chocolate Cake

My daughter has a sweet tooth. I point this out specifically because I am not too hot on sweet, preferring instead, the savory side of life.  I am however, particularly proud of this simple moist chocolate cake recipe. It is the result of many bungled attempts but I finally nailed it!


This cake is light, fluffy and airy and full of chocolaty goodness, yum! The recipe is quick and easy to follow making it a no brainer and most definitely a keeper!

Simple Moist Chocolate Cake

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees centigrade.
  2. Grease the baking tin.
  3. Mix together all the dry ingredients in a bowl i.e flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl mix the wet ingredients i.e milk, vegetable oil, and the eggs.
  5. Pour in the wet ingredients into the bowl containing the dry ingredients.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Pour the cake mixture into the cake tin and place in the oven.
  8. Bake for fourty minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool before removing from baking tin.
