Instructions
  1. Peel and wash the potatoes.
  2. Boil the potatoes in a pot for about 15 minutes until they are almost fork ready.
  3. Drain out the water. And allow to stand.
  4. In a skillet, sautè the onions until translucent.
  5. Add the tomato paste and chopped jalapeño peppers. Use half the pepper and leave the other half for garnish.
  6. Sprinkle in the black pepper, tumeric, papprika and garlic powder.
  7. Take the potatoes and add them into the skillet.
  8. Add a tad of the water that you had boiled the potatoes in and allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes, depending on the type of potato you are using.
  9. Garnish with the remaining jalapeño pepper and dig in!
