Instructions
  1. Clean and boil the potatoes for 8-10 minutes or until fork ready. I added a sprig of rosemary to infuse flavor.
  2. Peel off the potato skins.
  3. Mash the potatoes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Sprinkle in the flour a little at a time. Pour in the egg and mix until it forms a dough.
  5. Roll out the dough into a tube about 1″ in diameter.
  6. Slice the tube into 1″ pieces. Create indentations in them either with a fork or your finger.
  7. Boil for 3 -5 minutes. When they rise to the to of the boiling water, they are ready.
  8. Remove from the water and drain.
  9. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
