This vibrant looking apple beetroot smoothie is an excellent way to start your day. It is filled with iron, magnesium, potassium and folic acid. The red color also indicates that it contains antioxidants that cleanse your system.
This is a great (and easier) way to add veggies into your kids diet. You may add some more water to it if you prefer to have this smoothie a bit light.

Ingredients
1 Beetroot
2 Green Apples (Granny Smith)
1 Cucumber (De-seeded)
Preparation
Clean and dice the apples, peel and dice the beet and place in the blender. Cut the cucumber in half, lengthwise, and remove the seeds. Dice the cucumber too and add in the blender. Pulse in the blender until smooth. Pour in a glass and serve. Garnish with a julienne apple slice. Delicious!
